About me
Liangyu has been an actuarial assistant at LIU Actuarial Consulting Services since spring 2024. He assists Enrolled Actuary with annual retirement plan administration in proposal, valuation, compliance testing, distribution calculation, plan termination, plan document restatement and government form filing. He also helps in coordination among clients, recordkeeping platforms, payroll companies and other entities to ensure that retirement plans are operational.
Enlightened by actuarial consultants’ mission, Liangyu is committed to develop a professional career in the field. He does not only study with SOA examinations and IRS documentations but also stays current with evolving practices and regulatory changes to augment his skills in the retirement realm. This aligns with LIU Actuarial Consulting Services’ aim in delivering excellent actuarial and administrative retirement plan services to clients across the nation.
Prior to LIU Actuarial Consulting Services, Liangyu obtained both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics & Statistics at Stony Brook University, New York.
